BGB’s Old JAIL House ESB (Extra Special Bitter) - Seasonal
ESBs are essentially more aggressive and more balanced Bitters, both in alcohol and hop
character, but nothing overpowering. Color range will be similar, though leaning towards
the darker end of the scale; dark gold hues to copper. Lower carbonation allows Malts to be
more pronounced, often toasty and fruity. Despite "bitter" being in its name, ESBs are not
really all that bitter. They key to an ESB is balance. Our Battle Ground Brew Crew and you
are enlisted BGB Soldiers need to be balanced in these modern day battle grounds we live in.
“One of the General Fred’s favorites for you to chillax on”
BGB’s Forrest’s Hearty Winter Brown Ale (limited seasonal availability)
range and the alcohol is not limited to the average either. Perfect ending to a long hard
day of riding the calvary horses in Middle Tennessee. Use both hands and hang on for the
ride saddle pals it’s a General’s Delight bar none”
Just Released! New Years Eve! BGB’s Snowshoe Thompson Stout
Our BGB Hearty Stout is a much sweeter beer than it’s more bitter companions.
Those who don’t care for dry stout may prefer Snowshoe Thompson Stout.
Named after General Mindermann’s ancestor who delivered the mail in the mid 1800’s
across the Sierra Mountains on skis. He is best known for a 90 mile trek in two days
